Performs duties in the counseling and treatment of adolescents and/or adults as assigned in either Outpatient, Intensive Outpatient Program or ADSAP Services. At least one (1) year of addiction counseling experience required. Will be required to work some evening hours.

•    Master’s degree in Human Services, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field
•    At least two years direct counseling experience with one in addiction
•    Must acquire and maintain required certification/licensure from the State of South Carolina within 3 years of hire date
•    Licensed social worker, addiction or professional counselor preferred
•    Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license
•    Prime for Life certified preferred  
•    DSM 5 knowledge ASAM-PPC3 required
•    Ability to speak/understand Spanish desired

SALARY: $24.43 hr

All applicants tentatively selected for a position with Beaufort County Council will be required to submit to urinalysis to screen for the illegal use of drugs and to a background check prior to appointment.
