This executive level position reports to the County Administrator and is responsible for developing and/or coordinating programs and policies in such Human Resources components such as recruitment, selection, position classification, compensation, employee health services, and compliance. The HR Director for Laurens County works closely with the Administrator and Department Heads on all human resource matters and will often confer with the County Attorney on all personnel-related legal matters. The position does supervise one other employee.




Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field with over six years of current hands-on HR administration or an equivalent combination of education and experience.  Experience in the public sector is a plus.




The salary range for this position is $65,000 to $75,000 depending on qualifications, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
