Under limited and occasional supervision, must be mentally and physically capable of performing a variety of complex administrative, secretarial, clerical and paralegal duties in order to ensure effective and efficient preparation, processing, maintenance, storage and safekeeping of office documents, files and records, particularly as it relates to client files, performs a variety of other routine clerical duties including filing motions, scheduling hearings, reviewing files to insure receipt of discovery and provide assistance to office attorneys, other coworkers, clients and the general public as required.  Reports to the Circuit Public Defender.



Requires an Associate’s Degree in secretarial science or related field supplemented by four (4) to six (6) years of administrative experience in a judicial or law office setting, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
