Maintain information technology strategies by managing staff; researching best practices and implementing technological strategic solutions, technical management, technical understanding, analyzing information, informing others, staffing, problem solving, data center management, developing budgets, coordination, strategic planning and quality management.

•    Associates degree or a higher national diploma (HND) in a relevant subject such as information technology, computer science, software engineering, management sciences or business studies
•    Extensive information technology experience from entry level role, such as an information systems officer with experience within the field of project management, technical support, systems programming or computer operations to mid-level management positions, Information Systems Management or Information Technology Management positions
•    Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license
•    No criminal arrests

All applicants tentatively selected for a position with Beaufort County Council will be required to submit to urinalysis to screen for the illegal use of drugs and to a background check prior to appointment. Employment is contingent upon clearing both the drug screening and background investigation. EOE.
