High School Diploma or GED
21 years of age
Valid SC Driver's License, Class E is preferred
2 - 3 years of fire service experience
NFPA Firefighter 2
NREMT Certificate preferred but required to take EMT course within 18 months of hire date
Haz Mat Operations
Emergency Vehicle Driver Training
Auto Extrication
Pump Operations

Other coursework as required by the department
Experience working within a combination paid-volunteer organization is an asset.
